Retailer Profile:
The Old Bicycle Company
The Old Bicycle Company was established back in 1995 by the proprietor, Mr Tim Gunn and was primarily an antique bicycle restoration workshop. Over the years we have restored many collectable bicycles dating right back to 1860 belonging to collectors worldwide. From this base, the company evolved into providing many much needed services.
The online parts showroom which now forms the hub of the business was born from our frustration with not being able to find the right parts to do our bicycle renovations. This now provides a good source of parts for bicycle collectors and enthusiasts worldwide.
We also buy and sell collectable bicycles, along with being dealers for manufacturers of traditional and retrospective bicycles. Our more unusual work includes hiring out collectable bicycles for all sorts of uses – from PR to TV, film, photo shoots and special events.
You’re more than welcome to visit the shop - but please make an appointment first so we know when to expect you and that you are not disappointed to find no one is at the showroom. You can make an appointment by phone or email.
Our website also has several other useful sections for the old bicycle enthusiast. We’ve recently added the Cinema (embedded Youtube clips, in case you were wondering), which is now showing old bicycle and vintage transport related films and short clips.

Retro cycling is currently undergoing a resurgence, but the Old Bicycle Company is no bandwagon outfit - they've been well ahead for years.
