Home made recumbent seating re-visited...
In the endless quest for ultimate rear end comfort Zombie freakbike builder PETER TREMLETT brings us the latest evolution of his linear drive, electric assist recumbent quadricycle seating solution.
Even though I made a 'bent seat on the cheap, I was not happy with the way it looked on my beast, F-RQ.
So I turned to my friends at PAGNIAN IMPORTS - Australia's BEST and CHEAPEST racing simulator cockpits!
As endorsed by Top Gear Australia no less!
The seat arrives:

... it is removed from box...

...is presented up to chassis of beast...

....bolted to chassis of beast...

...here shown in rear view ...

Et voila. The finished product.

The Green Machine sliding seat rails are now removed, so I can actually get the seat in place, without excess weight. The linear pedaling system doesn't need for the seat to move, so the seat can be fixed in the one place.
