How have we done this?

Quite simply, our huge success over the last 30 years has been built on the loyalty and personal recommendations of satisfied customers so we don't need to invest heavily in advertising. We simply know what our customers want from a cycle store and we do all in our power to provide it.  We offer professional reliable service, friendly knowledgeable staff who are all experienced cyclists and a spacious, clean, well laid-out store offering top class products.

We are one of the very few stores in the UK with a dedicated 'Women's Specific' department. This allows us to stock the latest brand's and products specifically designed for the female market. Our staff are always welcoming and happy to help so why not pop in to our showroom to have a look!

At Chevin we recruit only first-rate sales-staff who really understand the needs of customers and make everybody welcome regardless of whether they are buying a tyre lever or a two grand performance machine. We are constantly extending to improve our store, with the recent expansion of our showroom and customer lounge.

One of the only ways to really know how a bike performs is to take it out for a ride.  It is also one of the only ways to know if a bike truly fits you.  To help you make your decision we will give you the chance to take a bike out for a proper off-road test "ride before you buy".

As well as being one of the leading cycle stores in the country (we particularly specialise in 29ers), we also offer a comprehensive repair service from our recently redesigned and refurbished workshop.  Our technicians are all experienced road and mountain bike riders, trained to ATG Cytech Level 2 and above, guaranteeing you will always get the best advice and quality of service. They allow us to tailor our services very accurately to your needs because they're riders just like you. We will carry out work on all cycles, not just the brands we sell.

We also have our very own cycle team, Team Chevin Cycles.  Currently two of our members are looking to cap their recent successes in the gruelling sport of 24-hour solo endurance racing by representing the UK at the World Championships in Canberra, Australia in October 2010.
