The Chopperdome

Welcome to the Chopperdome Amsterdam: the European specialist in beachcruisers, choppers and lowrider bicycles. The Chopperdome was the first real chopper and cruiser cycle shop in Europe, completely dedicated to quality and fun. With years of experience in building and selling cruiser and chopper bikes, the Chopperdome is your place to shop!

The shop was founded by Rhalf and Kitty van Heusden in 2001, born out of a passion for custom chopper cycles. When they discovered that it was hard to obtain parts for their own bikes, they began to import and resell parts and cruiser bicycles themselves. Over the years, this hobby has grown into the celebration of all kinds of custom cruisers. Starting from their front room, they moved across the street two years later, acquiring a wonderful showroom at number 346, which they have inhabited for 7 years. Recently,  a Chopperdome concept store opened at a new location, combining fashion with bicycles. The Chopperdome’s birthday party is the FBI meeting, which expresses everything the shop is all about: bikes, freedom and the fun of cruisin’ a great ride.

The Chopperdome consists of a small but very experienced and multilingual staff, with a clear focus – Rhalf van Heusden and his staff know what they want and like in a bike, and how to get the necessary products from all over the world. At the Chopperdome they know how to build a good-looking bike, and it seems the customers agree. The Chopperdome Garage builds custom bikes, theme bikes, or bikes with an eye-catching design such as a company logo. The shop also provides bikes for commercial purposes or photo shoots. Because of specific knowledge and gained experience over the years,  the Chopperdome can offer a concrete idea of the possibilities.

Currently, the Chopperdome is reorganising and is getting back to the basics… Project 346 (The Chopperdome’s own brand), custom building, and world domination!
