Rattlebone BMX Sidehack

BMX sidehacking is not a new idea; it was popular in the United States in the 1970s and 80s but never really became a headline sport in the UK due to a lack of commercial parts. Sidehacking is now seeing a resurgence in the USA and SN Designs have brought the concept to the UK with their unique sidehack design. This is not a retro hack, but a new concept designed from the ground up to provide a lightweight, fast, machine, which fits todays complex frame geometries.
The current Rattlebone is the MK III which represents the final evolution of the design.The simple mounting system uses one nut and one bolt to hold the assembly to the bike frame, a feature which allows riders to use a single bike for solo and sidehack racing, whilst helping with transport needs too.
Specification
Frame material:Seam welded carbon steel tubing.
Tread plate: Laser cut aluminium sheet.
Wheel: 20″ 48 Spoke Hack wheel. Choice of road or trail tyre.
Finish: Heavy-duty 'Tuff' brand black paint. Other colours and finishes are available to order.
All Rattlebones are handmade to order with a 3 week lead time. Some measurements of the chosen bike are needed to ensure a good fit. Email for a measurement template.
