From Streetstepper
First and foremost, the Streetstepper is an exercise machine. The step movement used on the Streetstepper excercises the body’s strongest muscles (legs and buttocks) as well as integrating torso and arm muscles. The upright position used on the Streetstepper is particularly beneficial for the spinal column as well as being easy on the wrists, as they don’t have to support any body weight. Furthermore, the gentle movement is low impact and makes no demands on the joints. This combination is simply unique!
The frame is made of aluminium, and comes in one size (we're sure that only one is necessary!). The wheels are 20" in diameter, and the transmission consists of independent step levers, with an automatic gear mechanism. It has three gears (triple chain-rings with front derailleur) as well as the automatic cam-disc transmission which provides impressive performance: The Streetstepper Sport is the choice for ambitious riders.
The Streetstepper Easy weighs in at a little over 16 kg and top riders can achieve speeds in excess of 35 km/h. It comes in either black with a green gear mechanism shield or white with a black gear cover, and is equipped with mudguards as standard.
The Streetstepper Easy is identical in construction to the Streetstepper Sport, but without the manual 3 gear system. It's simple and robust, and is ideal for rental businesses and all those who aren't likely to find themselves negotiating steep inclines or marathon rides!
