We started out as a family company, and remain one at heart: for example my partner is the Marketing Director and my father a keen cyclist all his life, is in charge of the engineering team. With a keen eye he oversees the hand building of every bike to each customer's specifications. Every single member of our team, family or not, shares the same passion. A commitment to designing and building the best bikes we possibly can and providing a service that is second-to-none. That is why we can guarantee every Van Nicholas frame a frame for life.
At Van Nicholas the research, design and fabrication process is a continuously evolving process with one aim: to create the best frames possible for their intended application. We believe that the best material for bicycle frame construction is Titanium. So aerospace grade Titanium is the only material we use.
We have ten years of experience working with Titanium and we believe in craftsmanship. That is why every single Van Nicholas bike ordered is hand-built right here at our factory in Holland. But we constantly seek to evolve. New is the Astraeus. The first Seamless Hydroformed titanium frame drawing on work carried out at the Delft University of Technology. And a refined range of our own parts and clothing. These complement the most current, top-brand Group Sets and components we hold in stock, so you can specify your Van Nicholas exactly how you want. And of course, if you want the ultimate option, we'll even custom-build one of our frames exactly to your individual dimensions.
