Exhibitor Profile: Bike Revolution
Bike Revolution is a recumbents specialist based in Austria. Besides our own brand, we offer recumbent trikes from renowned manufacturers such as HP Velotechnik, Hase, Zoxbikes, Flux, and Velokraft KMX.
In 2004 Bike Revolution CEO Thomas Seide worked together with Viktor Horvatski on the production of our Steintrikes. The aim was to make the cycles modular, so that, for instance, a two-wheeler could easily be transformed into a tricycle with the simple substitution of the midsection.
Bike Revolution manufactures its products exclusively in Europe. Construction, design, welding, turning, powder coating, high quality fibre-glass lamination and final assembly – it all takes place here. Our hardworking team is currently 16-strong.
We also make velomobiles with shells that are among the lightest on the market, for example the Leitra avancée has a shell weight of only 9kg. Bike Revolution received the license to build the Leitra avancée in 2008 - our redesign extended the wheelbase for greater stability.
Developed by Thomas Seide himself, our full suspension recumbent tricycle Mad Max uses the best suspension system from motorsports: double wishbone suspension. No wonder it has become the point of reference for the full suspension trike.
Currently we offer three different full suspension tricycles: the Mad Max, the Mongoose and the Explorer. Our Thunderstorm velomobile is based on the design of the Mad Max, with full suspension and narrow track width making it one of the most versatile and comfortable Velomobiles on the market.
