About Cyclorama
Cyclorama is an online magazine composed of four sections - Bike Culture, cycling articles; Cyclorama Products, individual features on great bikes and products; Cyclorama Retailers, outstanding shops; and Cyclorama Community, home to our blog. We're based in York, England and our aim is simple: to promote cycling. We hope the site provides knowledge and inspiration in equal measure. The site is intended to appeal to cyclists of all levels of experience, from beginner to bike geek.
Bike Culture is a collection of hundreds of articles, and covers subjects ranging from women's cycling to ingenious machines to cycling around the world - something for everyone, and growing all the time. Bike Culture also has galleries of interesting images, postcards and cartoons.
Cyclorama Products features hundreds of interesting cycles, parts and accessories which we have specially selected for inclusion. The people who make all these things come from all over the world but are united in wanting to get more people pedalling. But cycling isn't just about the technology - we wanted the human story behind these special bikes. We've therefore invited each manufacturer to devote a page to telling their story - their history, their people, their motivation and inspiration. What makes them tick.
Then there's Cyclorama Retailers. As with the Products, we've gone to great lengths to choose only the very best shops around the world. They might have been selected because of their superb level of service or the quality of the products they stock - but rest assured that any retailer featured on Cyclorama will definitely be worth a visit.
There's also the lively Cyclorama blog. Editors and guest write on subjects such as international show reports, cycling issues and interesting stories from the cycling world. The blog is also where you'll find news of fresh content on Cyclorama. Cyclorama is intended to be an international community, so feel free to contribute in any way you like and please get in touch if you'd like to translate a page into your language. Do you have a cycling story sitting in your mind or on your hard drive? Send it to us - if it's good enough, we'll publish it!
We hope you'll find something to inspire you on Cyclorama. There's new content being added all the time so please bookmark us and keep coming back for more! You can subscribe to the blog's RSS feed, follow us on Twitter or become a fan of our Facebook page. If you find something you think is particularly cool, please spread the word!

The Editors
P.S. Most of the people behind Cyclorama were also behind the Encyclopedia buyers' guide and Bike Culture magazine, published between 1993 and 2000. These printed publications were published in German, English and American editions and gave enormous impetus to cyclists worldwide, inspiring the birth of many successful enterprises - Cyclorama is Encycleopedia for the digital age. We're a part of Company of Cyclists, a social enterprise founded in 2000 to promote the cycling message in innovative ways, and we're backed by over 150 cyclist-supporter-shareholders from the UK, USA, Europe and Australia.
Testimonials
"Cities have existed for thousands of years, and for all but the most recent 100 years, automobiles were not a part of any urban vision. Now, they are the dominant feature of urban life and cities are designed to accommodate cars and not people. What's the alternative? Human-powered vehicles are one alternative.
Cyclorama and Bike Culture are essential sources for the stories, imagery and product information that will keep cycles of all types a part of future urban transportation systems."
Steve Meyer,
President, Main Street Pedicabs
"I must give you respect as I believe Cyclorama provides an excellent portal for showcasing their product and we would be honored to become part of your website"
